Independent sourcing service. HarborWorks Sourcing is not premier modular, not a manufacturer or authorized dealer, and not affiliated with that brand.

HarborWorks Sourcing Requirements by Project Application

An application is not a catalog adjective. HarborWorks Sourcing, an independent sourcing partner, turns the intended use into dimensions, loads, a jurisdiction, a transport limit, and a scope split. The searched brand stays a reference. It is not the supplier of record on this page.

Four building methods shown as small models on one table

Volumetric

More finish can travel with the module. Road limits and the lift govern the size.

Panelized

Flat packs use less trailer volume. Site assembly and weather exposure rise.

Foldable

The collapsed transport state and the opened floor area are both required numbers.

Steel systems

Clear span, eave height, and the primary frame are the comparison keys.

From a use to a purchase line

Healthcare and other occupied rooms

Record the occupant load, the hours of use, medical gas or only ordinary power, and the fire-resistance rating the authority expects. A swing-space module that looks like an office can fail if the egress width and accessibility route were never written down. Confirm whether the foundation is a temporary pier set or a permanent tie-down.

Education relocatables

Classroom counts, corridor links, and toilet rooms change the module dimensions more than the exterior color does. Ask which code edition the district uses and whether the unit is seasonal. Transport envelope matters when the campus gate is narrower than the module.

Camps and remote sites

Headcount, bathroom ratio, and kitchen scope decide how many units are one project. The destination may be a yard with no crane. State who supplies the crane lift plan, the skirting, and the utility skids. A camp quotation that stops at the shell is a different purchase from a camp that is ready to occupy.

Workshops, warehouses, and hangar-type spans

Door size, crane runway if any, and design live load on the floor are the lines that separate a light workshop from a building that must carry equipment. Secondary framing, purlin spacing, and girt depth belong in the supplier answer. Do not compare that answer with a volumetric office quote as if the products were the same.

Delivery stages should be named: fabrication release, ship date, arrival, set, and handover. Site constraints include overhead wires, soil the buyer already knows about, and the hour when trucks may enter. If those facts are missing, the industries page still cannot invent them. Send what you have through the inquiry catalog or the contact form.

Carry the use into the quotation

Write the project use beside the dimensions. Factories can then say what they included. This desk compares those statements. It does not certify occupancy.
