HarborWorks Sourcing Load Checks and Acceptance Criteria
HarborWorks Sourcing is an independent sourcing partner. A load sheet is how a buyer tests an alternative building. It is not a claim that this desk engineered the structure, and it is not a channel for the searched brand.
Write the design basis you actually have: wind speed, wind exposure category, ground snow load, seismic design category, design live load, and design dead load. Unknown stays unknown. The supplier then states the assumption used in the quotation.

What to read on a returned sheet

| Wind | Speed, exposure, and whether the figure is ultimate or allowable. A missing exposure category is an open item. |
| Snow and seismic | Ground snow load in psf and the seismic design category. Do not copy either from a neighboring county. |

| Primary frame | Rigid frame or another system, clear span, eave height, and bay spacing. Hot-rolled steel versus cold-formed steel should be named. |
| Secondary framing | Purlin and girt spacing, and the design live load the floor or mezzanine is said to carry. |

| Skin | Insulated metal panel or another assembly, with thermal transmittance and the fire-resistance rating if the occupancy requires one. |

Volumetric modules move a finished box, so the transport envelope can limit the section that was analyzed. Panelized construction can match an odd plan and then spend more time in the weather. A standardized unit is easier to compare when the published size fits. A custom span needs the load criteria before the price is meaningful. Accepting an alternative means the buyer has seen those differences, not merely a lower figure.

Which specification choices are still open?
Any load marked assumed, any coating not named, any foundation interface left to others, and any scope line that one factory included while another excluded it.
What should be verified before award?
That the drawing number matches the priced system, that the destination and quantity match the freight line, and that a licensed project professional accepts the design basis for that jurisdiction.
Where do shell and turnkey disagree?
They disagree wherever the crane, the anchor bolts, the interior, or the permits change hands. Keep those rows visible in the matrix even if the supplier would rather fold them into one number.

Partial data is usable if the gaps are labeled. The desk will not fill a wind speed to make the form look finished.
